Position: Manager, Culinary Operations / Executive Chef
About: Kennestone Hospital is a large and busy healthcare facility with a dedicated Nutrition & Food Services department. The department is undergoing a transition to a room service model and preparing for the opening of a new kitchen in Spring 2026.
Requirements: Bachelors’ degree in a relevant field preferred; OR Associate’s degree and two years relevant experience required; ServSafe Food Handler certification required; Five years of foodservice industry experience, with three years in management required; Healthcare foodservice and high-volume experience strongly preferred; Performance management, problem-solving, planning, communication, leadership, and customer service skills required; In-depth knowledge of foodservice safety standards mandatory; Financial and process improvement acumen required; Menu planning and facility renovation knowledge preferred.
