Position: Lead Cook
About: DDC – Tucson, AZ is seeking a Lead Cook to join their Food & Beverage team. The position involves preparing food items under supervision, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in a casino kitchen environment.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED preferred; three (3) years of recent experience as a cook; at least one year of supervisory experience as a Lead Cook/Saucier or equivalent combination of experience and education; must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Card; must be 18 years of age or older; no felony, theft, or stealing convictions; able to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation; knowledge of kitchen equipment, safe practices, sauce and stock making, meat and fish butchery, basic English communication, outstanding guest service, working in a fast-paced environment, organizational skills, ability to use cleaning equipment, food preparation and presentation methods, food safety regulations, teaching culinary methods, clear communication with management
