Position: Kitchen Manager (Production Specialist)

About: PCC Community Markets is seeking a Kitchen Manager (Production Specialist) to oversee deli kitchen operations, including production cooking, food cost analysis, recipe development, and ordering. The role involves providing mentorship and coaching to deli staff to uphold excellent customer service standards and participating in department planning, budgeting, and product mix.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; proven ability to provide excellent professional customer service; kitchen management experience required; flexible schedule with availability to work various shifts, including weekends; experience with supervising and training; computer knowledge and skills including Microsoft Office products; ability to meet physical demands such as standing, bending, lifting, etc.; current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health required; Certified Food Protection Manager certification (e.g. ServSafe) is required if hired; must be at least 18 years of age
