Position: Kitchen Manager job
About: The Torchy’s legacy began in Austin, Texas in 2006 with an idea, a dedicated executive chef, and a food trailer, now operating in dozens of locations across multiple states. Torchy’s is a restaurant focused on serving the best damn tacos with a mission to be damn good and a vision centered around passion and attention to detail. They are currently seeking a Torchy’s Kitchen Manager to oversee Back of the House (BOH) operations in their establishments.
Requirements: Management experience in restaurants; state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe Certifications; high-level understanding of training and development concepts; ability to foster teamwork; leadership skills; oral and written communication skills; excellent time management; bilingual skills a plus; ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds; ability to stand for several hours, walk for long periods, and reach objects at various height levels
