Position: Kitchen Manager job
About: The Kitchen Manager position at a restaurant involves overseeing the kitchen operations to ensure smooth functioning and compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; an associate degree in hospitality related field or equivalent preferred; valid driver’s license required; NRA ServSafe Food and Alcohol certifications preferred; 2 years previous restaurant management experience preferred; superior people management, communication, and listening skills required; self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about teaching others; ability to grasp and retain new ideas, communicate effectively, demonstrate time management and organizational skills; flexibility to work varying hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays; working knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation, alcohol safety, safety and security procedures, and computer operations preferred; flexibility to work a minimum of 50 hours per week, with additional hours as needed based on business requirements.
