Position: Kitchen Manager job
About: Directly responsible for overseeing all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation, and maintaining quality standards, sanitation, cleanliness, scheduling, shift coverage, training employees in cooking methods, preparation, plate presentation, portion and cost control, and sanitation. This position is with a restaurant establishment that values excellence and efficiency in its operations.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum 5 years of experience in various kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, fry cook, and expediter; clear communication skills with managers, kitchen, dining room personnel, and guests; ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds; able to work standing for long periods (up to 9 hours)
