Position: Kitchen Manager – Full Time (Winner’s Circle Indianapolis)
About: Responsible for all food production including that used for the restaurant, banquet functions, and other events. Develops menus, food purchase specifications, and recipes. Supervises staff and develops and monitors food and labor budget for the department. Maintains the highest level of professionalism, food quality, and sanitation standards. Directly supervises Cook(s), Bartender(s), Dishwasher(s), Porter(s), Server(s)/Waiter(s)/Racing. Key job functions include planning menus for all food outlets, scheduling and coordinating the work of other kitchen employees, leading team members, requisitioning products, ensuring sanitation and safety standards, minimizing food and supply waste, developing standard recipes, preparing budget data, conducting pre-shift meetings, and more. Qualifications require a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), one to three years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of three years of kitchen management experience and a culinary degree is preferred. Must have the ability to interact positively with supervisors, management, co-workers, guests, and the public. Requires the management of risk factors, social skills, and experience, along with various other skills outlined in the job description.
Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of three years kitchen management experience and culinary degree is preferred.
