Position: Kitchen Manager (CACFP)
About: The Common Good, located in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee their Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and meal services for senior breakfast and after-school programs. This role entails managing CACFP administration, food procurement, menu planning, compliance, and kitchen operations with a strong focus on organization, attention to detail, and CACFP regulations knowledge.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; experience managing CACFP or a similar food program (e.g., SFSP); strong understanding of USDA meal patterns, CACFP regulations, and compliance requirements; commercial or institutional kitchen experience (preferably in a school, nonprofit, or community food program); ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire); excellent organizational skills to manage documentation and reporting; ability to work independently and collaborate with program managers; passion for serving children and senior adults in a mission-driven nonprofit setting
