Position: Junior Sous Chef – DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cedar Rapids Convention Complex
About: DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cedar Rapids Convention Complex is looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our team. We are connected to the Alliant Energy PowerHouse, home to Cedar Rapids conventions and two blocks from Cedar Rapids Museum of Art and Paramount Theatre. Cedar Rapids’ largest full-service property with 267 guest rooms and 68,000 sq. ft. of banquet space. This position will heavily focus on PM production in our signature restaurant, 350 First. 350 First sits atop the hotel tower on the 16th floor, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, offering spectacular views of Cedar Rapids or the Cedar River with contemporary American fare.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; previous production experience in a professional kitchen; natural and positive approach to hospitality; full availability including nights, weekends, and holidays; ability to work in a high-volume environment with a passion for culinary excellence
