Position: Hotel Maintenance Technician
About: The Maintenance Technician position at the Residence Inn by Marriott Downtown Norfolk involves assisting with the operation, maintenance, service, and repair of equipment in various areas of the hotel. Requirements: Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn; Verbal and written communication skills; Ability to react quickly and calmly in emergency situations; Reasoning abilities are always utilized; Basic maintenance skills required; Proficient in use of hand tools, power tools, test equipment; Must be proficient in Windows operating systems, Company approved spreadsheets and word processing; Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly; Must have a desire to serve all guests; Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job.
