Position: Hotel General Maintenance
About: The Home 2/ TRU in Grove City is looking for a Maintenance Tech. The position pays $17-$20 per hour depending on experience. Full time benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, and Hilton Room Discount Program. Key Areas of Accountability: Assist with preventive maintenance, perform scheduled preventive maintenance assignments, check and make repairs to electrical systems, assist in checking and repairing hotel equipment, service the hotel’s pool, maintain building exterior, refurbish furniture and fixtures, respond to guest inquiries and complaints, be prepared for exposure to extreme temperatures, operate heavy machinery, comply with attendance rules, perform other job-related duties. Other Duties and Responsibilities: Work weekend and holiday shifts, ensure proper use and care of property equipment and supplies, carry out reasonable requests of management, follow safety policies and regulations. Qualifications: Self-starting personality, professional appearance and manner, excellent communication with guests, willingness to help co-workers, team player.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in maintenance or related field preferred. Ability to perform various maintenance tasks, work independently, and communicate effectively. Must be physically able to operate heavy machinery, lift and move heavy objects, and work in varying weather conditions.
