Position: Gourmet Chef
About: Giant Eagle Inc., a family-oriented company with diverse and talented Team Members, is seeking Gourmet Chefs to join their Central Kitchen/Market District operations in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Columbus, and Indianapolis. As an integral part of the team, Gourmet Chefs are responsible for food preparation, quality, merchandising, customer service, and maintaining food safety standards while promoting growth and profitability through education and teamwork.
Requirements: Experience required: 3 to 5 years; Experience desired: Advanced Culinary Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, Culinary Awards or accreditation, Food Safety Awareness; Education desired: Associate’s Degree; Certification or Licensing required: Serv-Safe Certification a plus; Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
