Position: Gilbert – Assistant Kitchen Manager (AKM)
About: The Assistant Kitchen Manager position involves overseeing the kitchen operations in collaboration with the Kitchen Manager, providing guidance to staff, creating staff schedules, managing inventory, monitoring food and labor costs, and ensuring kitchen cleanliness. The role also includes daily food preparation responsibilities.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; at least 1 year of management/supervisor experience required; one to two years of restaurant management experience preferred; possess a current Serv-Safe Certification or ability to obtain one; knowledgeable about food and room service techniques; familiar with PNL/labor, sales, and food cost; able to fill various kitchen positions if needed; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; strong attention to detail; pleasant and effective communication with guests and coworkers; self-motivated and organized; able to work under pressure and deliver quality product promptly; strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
