Position: General Manager I
About: HMSHost is currently seeking a General Manager I (GM) to manage a QSR restaurant or small cluster of restaurants at the Portland Jetport F&B location. The GM will be responsible for ensuring the restaurant operates to high operational and financial standards, is clean, staffed, and open for business.
Requirements: GMIs must have documented and demonstrated skills managing restaurants to which the role is assigned, with at least 3 years of restaurant P&L management experience and 5-7 years of overall restaurant experience. Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program may substitute for a portion of the time-based experience requirement. Must demonstrate team management, delegation, and issue resolution skills, as well as knowledge of HMSHost policies, products, and operations standards. Excellent communication and comprehension skills are required.
