Position: General Manager

Requirements: At least 6 years progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree and at least 4 to 5 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and at least 5 to 6 years of related experience. Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels of employees and guests. Must be able to understand, evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives. Must maintain confidentiality of information. Effective problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize departmental functions, multitask, and meet deadlines. Warm and friendly demeanor at all times. Must attend all hotel required meetings and trainings. High standards of personal appearance and grooming. Must comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations for safe and efficient hotel operations.
