Position: FT/PT Cook 1 Signature (Fine Dining) – Walt Disney World
About: A signature dining location at Walt Disney World is currently seeking Cook 1 Signature Dining Cast Members who are passionate about culinary arts and delivering Disney-quality meals while providing exceptional guest service. This role offers the opportunity to recreate Disney recipes and accommodate guest dietary restrictions, with exposure to a variety of cuisines from around the world in Hotels and Theme Parks.
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age; conversational communication skills required; minimum 2 years of recent line cook experience, including grill and sauté, or a culinary certificate and 1 year of recent line cook experience, including grill and sauté; knowledge of a variety of kitchen equipment; proficiency in all stations of the line, including grill and sauté, as well as proficient skills with knives, tools, and kitchen equipment; knowledge of modern and classical cooking techniques; butchering experience; understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines including temperature requirements and HACCP; elevated plating techniques; advanced product identification and seasonal availability; stock and sauce refinement
