Position: Food Service worker (Per Diem)
About: The Ronald Reagan Hospital is seeking to hire a Per Diem Food Service Worker to join the Department of Nutrition. You will be part of a team that provides the best customer service relevant to the retail food service operations in our cafeterias.
Requirements: Ability to work around or use strong cleaning solutions; Ability to work in hot, cold, and or wet areas; Ability to lift, push or pull at least 50lb and push loaded carts weighing 350lbs; Basic nutrition production skills including pre-plating of retail foods and assisting with bulk preparation of food; Knowledge of portion control and serving procedures; Knowledge of retail operations such as station setup, replenishment, merchandising and inventory procedures; Able to read, write, and speak standard English; Ability to work in standing position for a long period of time; stretch, bend, walk, stoop, and reach repetitively; Ability to practice safe food handling techniques; Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with co-workers, customers, supervisors, and managers; Ability to work flexible schedule
