Position: Food Service Manager – North Liberty Campus
About: The University of Iowa Health Care department of Food and Nutrition is seeking a Manager for the North Liberty Food Service. This position manages the Food and Nutrition Services at Medical Center North Liberty campus, including inventory control, food production, patient food service, retail food service and clinical services. This position ensures standardization of processes, regulatory compliance, quality assurance and safety regulations are followed. Develops and manages the performance of staff. This position is also a preceptor for Master of Clinical Nutrition Students.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics or an equivalent combination of education and experience; At least 3-5 years of experience working in healthcare food service; Licensure by the State of Iowa is required; Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; Proficiency with Microsoft computer applications; Experience fostering a welcoming and respectful environment
