Position: Food Service Manager
About: Seeking a Part-Time Food Service Manager to join the Albany Area Services Team at The Salvation Army in Albany. The position involves coordinating and managing all food pantry activities, including volunteer recruitment, ordering supplies, overseeing food delivery, and collaborating with local organizations for food programs and donations.
Requirements: Associate degree (AA) and at least two years of relevant work experience preferred; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Mail Merge, PowerPoint, and Google Forms; strong interpersonal and communication skills; attention to detail and accuracy; ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; training in food safety and handling through the Health Department; ability to lift and carry items weighing 25 pounds or more; self-motivated and highly organized.
