Position: Food Runner/Server Assistant (FT or PT) at Ironwood Restaurant – The Valley Hotel, Curio by Hilton
About: Located in the heart of Homewood, Alabama, Valley Hotel is a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel offering 129 spacious guest rooms and over 5,000 square feet of event space. It provides a unique escape for visitors and locals with various dining options and a welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements: High school education or equivalent experience; Six months – 1 year in a food/beverage services environment or establishment; Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment under pressure at times; Understand and be knowledgeable of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures; Must have manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items in hand, and carry containers and trays loaded with food and liquids; Able to read, speak, and understand English; Able to lift, push, carry 20 – 40 lbs; Stand continuously for long periods of time; Communicate information and hotel services effectively
