Position: Food Runner job
About: Washington Marriott Capitol Hill is seeking a Food Runner to serve and replenish food items at the restaurant, maintain food service and cleanliness, handle guest transactions, and ensure smooth register operations. The potential career path includes progression to a Server or Bartender role. Essential job functions include reporting to the Restaurant Manager, maintaining sanitation, assisting in deliveries, stocking condiments, knowing menu details, and exhibiting a ‘can do’ attitude. Position requirements include preferred experience in a food service environment, strong interpersonal communication skills, and flexibility to work holidays, weekends, and evenings. The work environment entails standing and moving for extended periods, as well as occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
