Position: Food Runner job
About: Avvio, located in the heart of Garden City Center and part of the Newport Restaurant Group, is seeking a Food Runner to join their team. The restaurant offers a traditional yet approachable menu featuring classic Italian dishes, Neapolitan pizzas, and wood-fire grilled entrees made with locally sourced and Italian ingredients. Avvio is a favorite among locals and takes pride in being part of the Newport Restaurant Group’s hospitality staff in New England, focusing on great food, great locations, and great teamwork.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; flexible schedule availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays; prior food running experience is a plus but not required; ability to stand for extended periods, lift 25-50 pounds, and work collaboratively in a team setting
