Position: Food and Catering Coordinator
About: Portland Community College is seeking a Food and Catering Coordinator (“Dining Center Coordinator”) in the PCC Classification system. The position is responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of a retail area and catering, serving as a working lead. Work hours are variable, typically Monday-Friday 7-3:30, sometimes later, with some travel to Cascade Campus expected.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum three years of experience preparing food in a high volume commercial food service environment; food handler’s card required; knowledge of health and safety codes and regulations; ability to independently coordinate food services activities including planning menus and supervising others; organizational, customer service, and record-keeping skills required; ability to analyze and monitor food costs
