Position: Executive Chef job
About: Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, NY is seeking an Executive Chef to lead a well-trained team in producing high-quality food while upholding safety, sanitation, and service standards. The ideal candidate will develop creative menus, ensure customer and patient satisfaction, and manage various operational aspects to maintain food integrity and compliance with regulations.
Requirements: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited culinary program plus 5+ years experience as a sous or executive chef in fine dining, hotels/resorts, country clubs, or healthcare/senior living; Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platforms; Passion for food, desire to grow, and strong work ethic supporting both; Willingness to relocate for promotion opportunities
