About: Craig Hospital, located in the Food Services department, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to assist in planning, organizing, and implementing top-quality food service programs. The role involves overseeing inventory, procurement, and daily food production for patient food service, retail food service, and catering, as well as managing staff recruitment, scheduling, and training.
Requirements: Licensure/Certification/Registrations: ServSafe Food Production Manager Certification; Certified by the American Culinary Association preferred. Education: Associate degree in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred. Experience: 3-5 years of progressive food service experience required; Minimum 2 years of leadership and management experience in food service required. Skills & Abilities: Strong knowledge of infection control, nutrition, and food service management. Excellent organization and customer service skills. Advanced supervisory, team-building, conflict resolution, and communication skills. Computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
