Requirements: Must have complete understanding of proper food handling, storage, sanitation, cooking methods, knife skills, and time management; Occasionally lift items up to 50lbs; Have knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Caterease, Chef Tec; Ability to take direction; Ability to work in a team environment; Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure; Must have problem-solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized; Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge; Use personalized greetings and proper etiquette when communicating through email; Must have an updated copy of Nassau food handler’s certificate displayed in the kitchen within three months of employment; Keep open lines of communication with team members and Director of Dining Services.
