Position: Event Sales Manager, Hotel Services – Fairmont Breakers, Long Beach
About: The Sales Manager position is available at a hotel/convention center environment with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt, sand, and dust. Team members will work with high-end audiovisual equipment and will be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders, potentially working in multiple hotel locations. The working conditions range from moderately quiet to noisy volumes, and working hours may include irregular shifts, on-call status, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Appearance guidelines must be adhered to as defined by Encore based on the specific hotel or representation of hotels in the area.
Requirements: Bs/ba or 1+ years of Encore or equivalent experience required; 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred; prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus; knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred; technical aptitude and computer proficiency required; strong written and verbal communication skills
