Position: Event Director
About: The Young Automotive Group is looking for an Event Director to oversee and manage all event spaces and properties, ensuring successful meetings, conventions, and events. The role involves assessing needs, conceptualizing event requirements, supervising catering staff, and managing contracts and customer satisfaction post-events.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in event planning and catering; strong organizational, managerial, and communication skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; knowledge of legal regulations for events; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift 15 to 25 pounds, and work flexible hours including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
