Position: DIRECTOR OF NUTRITION
About: The Barron Center, a large-scale food service operation in Portland owned by the City of Portland, is seeking an experienced Food Service Director to lead its team. The center, Maine’s largest skilled nursing facility, is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of its residents through exceptional food service.
Requirements: Experience in a skilled nursing environment, Food Service Supervisor experience, Certified Dietary Manager with Serve Safe Certification, familiarity with dementia care, experience optimizing resident health, and wellbeing through interdisciplinary teamwork. A degree in culinary arts and/or business management preferred, experience in a union environment preferred.
