Position: Director, Human Resources, Operations
About: gategroup, a global leader in airline catering, food production, and logistics, is seeking a motivated and engaged Top HR Leader for one of its major operational business units. This role is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategy for operations leadership, including workforce and labor planning initiatives.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required; Masters in a related field or MBA preferred; Eight to Ten years of progressively responsible human resource roles, with at least 5 years in Labor Relations/Union and Employee Relations, and 5 years in a supervisory role; Experience in transportation, hospitality, manufacturing, or food service environment highly desirable; Multi-lingual skills highly desirable; Strong technical skills including knowledge of state and federal employment law, business acumen, leadership, coaching, talent acquisition, negotiation, and time management; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Demonstrated ability to lead and develop human resource staff; Proficiency in EEO/Title VII compliance and Microsoft Windows applications.
