Position: Department Manager
About: The Gillis Organization owns and operates McDonald’s Restaurant Franchises in Bergen, Monmouth, Middlesex, Ocean, and Somerset County in New Jersey and Albany, Columbia, Rensselaer, and Schenectady County in New York. Requirements: Managers lead weekly shifts, ensuring customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. Some managers also lead Departments, managing assigned Systems like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks to their teams, following up, and reporting results. The Guest Service Department Manager ensures a great customer experience, trains service staff, and organizes service areas. The Kitchen Department Manager maintains quality food delivery, safety, cost control, and staff training. The People Department Manager hires, trains, schedules, motivates, and recognizes the team. Managerial experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment preferred. Positive team players with flexible schedules who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment are ideal candidates.
