Position: Culinary Manager
About: The Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO) is looking for a Culinary Manager to oversee kitchen operations, meal production, and distribution for Feeding Champlain Valley, a program of CVOEO. The organization focuses on addressing fundamental issues of economic, social, racial, and environmental justice to help individuals achieve economic independence through access to food as a human right.
Requirements: An Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts or 3-5 years of professional culinary experience required; supervisory experience preferred; Current ServSafe accreditation; experience in program management, planning, and organizing projects; effective verbal and written communication skills (bilingual abilities a plus); occasional nights and weekends availability; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation within CVOEO’s service area.
