Position: Cook Supervisor – DINING SERVICES V – Lookout Mountain – Golden
About: The Office of Children, Youth & Families – Lookout Mountain Youth Services Center is looking for a Food Services Supervisor to join their team. The Division of Youth Services (DYS) provides a range of services for youth in detention, commitment, and parole. DYS operates secure facilities serving youth between the ages of 10 and 21, providing care and supervision as mandated by the Colorado Department of Human Services. The position involves managing a food services program in a juvenile correctional facility and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; Four (4) years of relevant experience in a related occupation; Schedule flexibility, inventory management, schedule analysis, ServSafe Manager Certification, employee evaluation; Must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid U.S. driver’s license, able to work various shifts including breakfast, lunch, or dinner shifts, handle hazardous materials, attend required trainings; Completion of DYS Pre-service Training Academy and other mandatory training programs
