About: Eastcastle Place is a senior living and health services facility that has been proudly serving seniors for over 140 years, offering a continuum of care that promotes active and fulfilling lifestyles while respecting the dignity and independence of each resident. The establishment’s in-house restaurant, The Gillman, serves 100-150 independent living residents and manages 4 satellite kitchens providing meals to residents in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long-Term Care, and Skilled Rehab.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of culinary experience in a true culinary environment; passion for culinary excellence and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; actively working in the culinary field; ability to follow detailed recipes and dietary guidelines; strong communication skills and eye for detail in food quality and kitchen organization; understanding of dietary needs and ability to follow recipes accurately; excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment; dedication to providing outstanding dining experiences; knowledge and ability to understand measurements and conversions; ability to interpret instructions, specifications, and standards; willingness to learn; active listening skills; strong work ethic
