About: Sunrise Senior Living, a certified Great Place to Work by Activated Insights for the 7th time, is currently seeking a Cook for Sunrise of Fairfield. The Cook plays a vital role in ensuring the proper preparation and service of food according to established recipes, maintaining food safety standards, and managing food production effectively in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.
Requirements: One (1) year job-related experience including food preparation in a restaurant, hotel, or similar environment; High School Diploma/GED; CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate; ServSafe Manager Certificate; Local Health Department Food Handler Card; Prior culinary apprenticeship or training a plus; Written and verbal communication skills; Strong organizational and time management skills; Good judgment and decision-making skills; Ability to handle multiple priorities.
