Position: Cook (Center of Hope)
About: The Salvation Army Palm Beach Area Command/Center of Hope in West Palm Beach, Florida is seeking a dedicated Cook for a regular full-time position at a pay rate of $17.20 per hour. The role involves menu planning, food purchasing, cooking, food presentation, and kitchen maintenance to ensure the provision of nutritious meals in a timely manner.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; One year experience cooking food for large groups or equivalent combination of training and experience; Ability to meet attendance requirements, read, write, and communicate in English; Physical ability to cook, taste, and smell food; Work in a kitchen environment with physical demands like walking, standing, kneeling, or sitting intermittently around hot stoves/ovens or cold freezers.
