Position: Chef – Seasonal
About: Powderbird, located at Snowbird Resort in Alta, Utah, is a renowned leader in helicopter skiing since its establishment in 1973. Offering premier single-day and multi-day heli-skiing and lodging packages, Powderbird is the only permitted helicopter ski outfitter in Utah. With a fleet of high-performance aircraft and experienced guides, Powderbird provides exceptional mountain experiences with daily heli-skiing adventures departing from its slopeside heliport at Snowbird. Additionally, Powderbird organizes guided expeditions worldwide, including destinations like the Arctic mountains of Greenland.
Requirements: High school degree or GED equivalent required; Valid state-issued driver’s license; Previous culinary experience required; ServSafe Certification required; Committed to safety in all aspects of work; Previous experience in the hospitality or resort industry preferred; Ability to lift and carry loads up to 50 lbs; Ability to work on your feet for up to 12 hours a day; Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written; Must be able to hear normal conversations in a busy, crowded environment; Vision must be within normal range to work safely and to read written information; Must have the dexterity to use all equipment and utensils normally associated with the position
