Position: Chef job
About: This role is for a Cook at a correctional facility, responsible for preparing and serving food to inmates and staff and assisting in menu preparation under the direction of the Executive Chef and Kitchen Supervisor. The position involves supervising inmates in food preparation and related tasks.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; one or more years experience as a cook or chef for large groups, or a culinary arts degree/certificate, registered dietician’s degree, or the equivalent; willingness to train and work with inmates in food preparation; flexibility to learn new duties and skills as assigned
