Position: Cafe Sous Chef – Santa Fe
About: Responsible for overseeing team member performance, setting schedules and job duties, managing budgets, ensuring kitchen compliance with health and safety standards, and maintaining a hazard-free work environment in a restaurant setting.
Requirements: One to Two years minimum Sous Chef or Chef Management experience required; minimum 2 years in varied high volume and/or fine dining environment; experience with ordering and inventory control; proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ability to work in a fast-paced environment; excellent organization and communication skills; comprehensive food knowledge including profit loss statements, cost control, menu planning, budgeting, training, inventory control, and sanitation; hands-on experience in high-volume kitchen production (butchering, baking, soups, stocks, sauces, roasting, sauteing, broiling, grilling, and cold food production); flexible schedule availability; strong leadership skills
