Position: Banquet Sous Chef

About: The Daniel Island Club, an exclusive private country club on Daniel Island near Downtown and Mount Pleasant, is seeking a Banquet Chef for its busy Banquet Department. The club offers Thirty-Six Holes of Championship Golf, state-of-the-art Tennis and Fitness Centers, and multiple dining concepts, including fine dining, upscale casual dining, and outdoor poolside dining.

Requirements: Minimum of 3 years experience in luxury catering and/or banquet high volume production setting; 1 to 2 years in a similar managerial role; leadership in hospitality with excellent customer service skills; detail-oriented and creative mindset; proficiency with computer programs and Club operating software; ability to plan and execute multiple banquet and club functions; strong communication and organizational skills; experience in menu planning and food purchasing; ability to work on nights, weekends, and holidays
