Position: BackLot – Executive Kitchen Manager
About: Harkins Theatres, the largest independently owned theatre company with 32 locations in four states and over 90 years of rich history, is seeking an Executive Kitchen Manager (EKM) for their Norterra- North Phoenix location. The EKM will lead and manage the kitchen operations to ensure culinary excellence and exceed guest expectations in a profitable and safe work environment that adheres to Harkins’ BackLot operational standards and regulations.
Requirements: At least 3 years of Culinary Management experience, with at least 2 years as an Executive Chef, in a high-volume establishment; 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; exceptional written and oral communication skills; strong interpersonal and motivational skills; ability to effectively supervise and instill cooperation in staff; ability to work well under pressure; professional attitude and demeanor; attention to detail, well organized and able to multi-task; strong working knowledge with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel; must have or be willing to get SERV Safe Certification; must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
