Position: Associate Director Conference and Event Services
About: Creighton University in Omaha, NE is hiring an Associate Director of Conference and Event Services to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Signature Event Planning Team, Centralized Reservations, and the Summer Conference program. This position partners closely with the Associate Director of Events and Student Center Operations to plan and execute all non-academic events at Creighton.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education administration, Business administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major required; Master’s degree preferred. 3 years of event, operations, and/or business experience required; 2 years of experience supervising professional staff and managing team(s) required. Computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office products (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.). Experience with CRM and event management software platforms (e.g., 25Live, EMS, CVENT, etc.) is a plus. Fiscal and budget management experience. Experience managing contracts and relationships with clients and external vendors preferred. Must demonstrate a strong commitment to the Catholic, Jesuit mission of Creighton University.
