Position: Assistant Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef
About: Stevie’s Kitchen USS Alabama is a fast-paced quick-serve restaurant located at the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, open 364 days a year from 9 am – 4 pm, extending hours to 5 pm during the busy season from April to September. We specialize in serving food cooked-to-order.
Requirements: At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Sous Chef/Assistant Kitchen Manager; ability to follow and implement instructions from the executive chef; experience in supervising kitchen staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow; proficient in training new employees, managing staff performance, and maintaining a positive work environment; skilled in kitchen inventory management, ordering, receiving, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and sanitation standards.
