Position: Assistant Kitchen Manager
About: Times Supermarkets is currently seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to join their Food Service department. The Assistant Kitchen Manager will be responsible for food preparation, enforcement of sanitation procedures, training, product organization, and operations in the absence of the Kitchen Manager or Chef. The position may involve assisting customers, cooking, baking, training new staff, overseeing back-of-the-house and front-of-the-house operations, quality control, administrative tasks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; three years external experience as a Cook or two years internal experience as a Cook; one year supervisory experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills, effective communication, good phone etiquette, and written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to multitask, prioritize work, meet deadlines, troubleshoot, and problem-solve.
