Position: Assistant Executive Chef
About: Join Team Atlantis at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, where we are currently looking to hire an Assistant Executive Chef. This role involves assisting the Executive Chef in various duties, including conducting inspections, addressing guest concerns in the food and beverage department, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and preparation. The Assistant Chef will also collaborate with the Director of Food & Beverage to establish budget goals, monitor financial aspects, and implement cost controls for the department.
Requirements: Must possess an Associate’s degree or higher in Food and Beverage Management, Culinary, or related field; certification as an Executive Chef from the American Culinary Federation; a minimum of 5 years experience as an Assistant Executive Chef and 10 years in culinary roles; excellent communication skills; ability to mentor and lead team members effectively; Serv-Safe certification or the ability to obtain it within 180 days; creativity in developing new guest experiences; willingness to work flexible shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
