Position: Assistant Director – Yahentamitsi Dining Facility
About: University of Maryland, College Park, a state flagship institution founded in 1856, is seeking an Assistant Director for the Yahentamitsi Dining Facility within the VPSA-Dining Services unit. The campus is located near Washington, D.C., offering unique proximity to various centers of power, businesses, research entities, and cultural organizations.
Requirements: Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Restaurant Management, Business, or related field; Prince George’s County Food Service Sanitation Management Certification; TIPS or equivalent Alcoholic Beverage Management Certification. Experience: Seven (7) years of management experience in a large multi-service platform food service facility, with at least 3 years in a senior role. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong leadership, communication skills, budgeting, financial acumen, and food service operations expertise.
