Position: Assistant Director Culinary Excellence
About: Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore is seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead their culinary team and ensure the effective operation of main kitchen food service and production areas. The Chef will work closely with the JHHS Director for Culinary Services to design, implement, evaluate, and market food service programs, ensuring maximum financial, operating, and patient/customer satisfaction outcomes. This role requires a strong background in culinary arts, food management, and leadership in a healthcare setting.
Requirements: Completion of degree in Culinary Arts or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Food Management; Master’s degree in food or business-related area preferred; thorough knowledge of culinary arts, cooking, baking, salad preparation, procurement, and storage of food and related items; seven to ten years of previous experience in a similar role
