Position: Assistant Deli/Food Service Manager
About: Buc-ee’s, a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant chain, is coming to Pass Christian, Mississippi in May 2025. They are seeking an Assistant Food Service Manager to join their team with a focus on cleanliness, friendliness, and product availability.
Requirements: Restaurant, retail, or management experience preferred; Bachelor’s degree preferred; Minimum of 5 years of relevant Food Service experience preferred; Proficiency in food planning and preparation, sanitation, and food handling preferred; Proficient skill level in MS Office (e.g., Excel & Outlook); Experienced in various POS and transaction devices such as Kiosks, Printers, Tickets, Touch Screens; Acquire and maintain food service certifications; May require relocation; Ability to work weekends and holidays; Willingness to work a rotating schedule that may alternate between day and night shifts; Regular and punctual attendance; Ability to perform prolonged walking or standing for 8 hours or more; Capable of bending, climbing, stooping, crouching, reaching, balancing, pushing, pulling (e.g., handling 50 or more 20lb. ice bags) and lifting products or materials weighing 40 lbs. or more
