Position: AREA KITCHEN MANAGER
About: Bodega Taqueria y Tequila, located in West Loop, Chicago, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager to join their team. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for supervising kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to standard recipes, food safety practices, and providing high-quality food to guests. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and the ability to maintain consistent results. The position reports to the Vice President of Culinary with accountability to the location General Manager(s).
Requirements: Minimum 5-6 years of hands-on experience in food production in fast-paced restaurant environments; proficiency in high-volume atmospheres or multi-unit operations; proven track record in training and mentoring kitchen staff; thorough understanding of kitchen sanitation protocols and safety regulations; certification from a culinary school or degree in Restaurant Management is a plus
