Position: Area Director, Venues-Hilton Hawaiian Village
About: The Area Director, Venues is responsible for the overall management of operations within assigned venues in a region, ensuring world-class service delivery with venue partners, customers, and vendors. This position includes direct responsibility for managing daily operational and sales activities of the event technology operation, supervising venue leaders, and collaborating with regional leadership for business reviews and growth opportunities. The Area Director, Venues manages venues with revenue ranging from $2M to $10M and reports to a Regional Director or an RVP, Venues.
Requirements: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred; 7+ years of audiovisual experience; 5+ years of operations supervisory/management experience in audiovisual; 3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience; strong financial acumen, sales planning, forecasting, and CRM skills; excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills; proficiency with computer hardware, software, Internet, and Microsoft Office; effective leadership abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction and people development
